The ILS works with professors at universities across Canada to bring guest speakers to their campuses, enabling students to hear about the ideas of freedom from different perspectives and areas of expertise.
FAQ on Bringing a Lecture To Your Campus
What topic areas do lectures typically address?
Although all of of the lectures we help bring to your campus will be directly or indirectly tied to the ideas of freedom and the classical liberal tradition, we don’t have a pre-determined idea of what will work best on your campus or what your students will be the most interested in.
When you reach out, we’ll have a discussion with you to determine what would be the most interesting—and best fit—for your campus and students.
How much effort is required on my part?
Virtually no effort. We mean it!
Essentially, once you let us know you’re interested in bringing the ideas of freedom and the classical liberal tradition to your campus, we handle the rest and walk you through any other steps and effort we might need from your side.
I like the idea of bringing a lecture to my campus, but I'm not 100% sure I want to go forward with it yet. Can we discuss further?
Yes, absolutely.
