Alex joined the Institute for Liberal Studies in 2025. As the Educational Programs Manager, he is responsible for organizing and executing engaging educational programs for participants across Canada.
Before joining the ILS, Alex was the Communications Officer at the New Zealand Taxpayers Union. While in New Zealand, he also founded the campus advocacy club Generation Screwed NZ. During university, he was an intern at the Canadian Taxpayers Federation and did research for the Aristotle Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and completed exchange semesters at both Masaryk University in the Czech Republic and the Universidad de Guadalajara in Mexico.
Alex is a former Freedom Week alumnus from 2023. When he is not spreading the ideas of liberty you can find him travelling, cheering on the Denver Broncos, or at the pub.
